Cedric B. Barner

Cedric Barner has always loved the open road, and when formulating his career plan, it was only natural for him to include it in it. Inspired by his uncles who were truck drivers, he took on the same vocation, becoming a truck driver in the late 1990s. In 2020, he expanded into business ownership, opening his own transportation company, Ajani G Logistics LLC. With this venture, he utilizes his experience as a driver, but also his business management experience working at a bank and at a restaurant. Looking toward the future, Mr. Barner aspires to build a fleet of trucks to meet the needs of his clients and provides good jobs to hard-working people.

Mr. Barner earned an associate degree in business administration with a concentration in management from Bauder College. He attributes his success to wanting to do better with his son as his main inspiration. Everything he does is showing his son, if he wants something, if he thinks about it, if it is his dream, he can actually reach it. He is most proud of his family and his community, and also considers his time in the military as his biggest achievement. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1995 to 1999 and was honorably discharged.

When not continuing to build his business, Mr. Barner enjoys freshwater fishing; spending time with his son and giving him life lessons.
